Round House Theatre operates three facilities in Montgomery County, Maryland.

Round House Theatre Bethesda, 4545 East-West Highway, Bethesda, MD is a 365-400 seat theatre space with balcony. The striking lobby is suitable for a pre or post-performance reception.  A small rehearsal room may be used for meetings of up to 25, or as a way to expand the use of the lobby.  Due to the RHT schedule, the theatre’s availability is very limited.  Off-night rentals may be scheduled on the set of the show running at that time.  RHT Bethesda is a block from the Bethesda Metro Station, with ample parking nearby.

Round House Theatre Silver Spring Black Box, 8641 Colesville Road, Silver Spring, MD is a 50x60 foot intimate Black Box Theatre seating approximately 125.  The audience configuration may vary depending on the show set-up.  The Silver Spring Theatre is immediately adjacent to the AFI Silver Theatre, two blocks from the Silver Spring metro, with many restaurants and ample parking nearby.

Round House Theatre Education Center, 925 Wayne Avenue, Silver Spring, MD
has 5 classrooms including a dance studio with a fully sprung floor.  Classrooms are suitable for meetings of up to 30, with tables and chairs available. The Education Center  is just a few blocks from the Silver Spring metro in the Wayne Avenue Garage, with many restaurants nearby.

RENTAL POLICIES

The Round House theatre wants your event to run as smoothly as possible.  Please look over our general guidelines, and communicate any questions and requests to our  staff early in your planning process.    

• Client shall maintain comprehensive commercial general liability insurance.  Such policy shall name Round House as an additional insured.  RHT shall not be liable for any personal injury or any damage, loss or theft of any property during Client’s use of the Facilities. 
• If the rental occurs during a production, the use of the theatre will be limited to the stage conditions of the production in progress.
• RHT can provide a podium, tables and chairs.  Some music stands, or other furniture may be available.  Projector and screen are subject to availability and set restrictions. 
• General illumination will be provided.  Rentals with more significant lighting needs will work with the production department to arrange for these.  Additional charges will apply.
• A RHT staff member will be present during event.  Events with sound and lighting needs will require additional staff can provided at the rate of $25 per technician per hour for each hour of the performance and set up/strike.
• Alcoholic beverages shall not be sold, served, or consumed at RHT except when authorized by RHT and properly licensed in accordance with Montgomery County law and adopted policies and procedures. 
• All marketing/publicity for the renter’s event is the sole responsibility of the renter and must be approved by RHT prior to publication.  Box office and ticketing services may be arranged through RHT.  Additional charges apply.
• Round House theatre reserves the right, at its discretion, to impose additional policies that may be necessary to the safe operation of the building and its occupants.  A complete list of regulations shall be included with rental contract.
